Good Points

2 years and still going.
The plate is very resilient and has yet to stain.


Bad Points

The plastic is easily chipped, even when it is dropped from the ironing board onto carpet/wooden floor. However, it is cosmetic damage only.


General Comments

My previous steam iron would form stains on the plate and the nozzles very easily. The Bosch TDA2430GB steam iron does not. It is also very light, but the plastic feels slightly light and seems to be easily chipped.
