Good Points

CD Text, Backlit carousel, optical output, all necessary buttons are on the unit as well as the remote.


Bad Points

I don't have the remote. It's too big to fit in many stereo cases. CD changers cost alot.


General Comments

This CD player was an Open box special at Best Buy, it didn't have the remote so we got a deal. The sound is very clear, even with the RCA outputs. It is easy to figure out and has many features. The only thing I don't really like about it is that the device is nearly 2 feet deep, so it doesn't fit right in our stereo cabinet (We had to cut the back out of ours to make it fit). A large CD changer is nice to have because you leave the CDs in the unit and they never get dirty or scratched. I would recommend the Sony to anyone looking for a good CD changer.

    The review would have been more helpful to me if the reviewer included the playback formats of the CD changer. Specifically I am interested in a CD changer that support CD-R/CDRW playback formats.
