Nice Website. Looks very professional and inviting
If you are on a deal whereby you have to claim your money back - e.g. Half line rental for 9 months etc., you are unlikely to get your money back on time, and you will definitely have to chase them up.
Fone Warehouse is a good company, and the web site has a nice interface etc. ALL very appealing until the after service part.
When it's time for you to get your money back from them, I wish you all the best. Terrible customer service. You can call their headquarters and all, but you are unlikely to get accurate information, and the person who is responsible for your account probably won't answer the phone. If that person does answer your call, they will promise you a date when the manager will sign for the cheque, but it probably won't arrive.
Then when you call again, you need to catch the person, then they ask for all your details, flicks of paper in the background; after which will be followed by a - Oh the cheque has already been sent out about 2 months ago. Do you want proof? You didn't receive the cheque? Well we can cancel that cheque, but that's a £10 admin charge. I can't tell you why I didn't tell you this 2 months ago so that you could have chased the cheque up then... sorry (you are lucky if you get a sorry - everybody is perfect in this company).
Now I have only dealt with them once, and it will be my last time. I only got their headquarters' number because my friend had the same trouble and went through this same issue. BUT, he did receive his cheque after calling them 3 times. I on the other hand have suffered this fate.
Most small websites/companies are working on very small profit margins, so they are usually hoping that customers forget their cashback claim, and then they can keep YOUR money.
Another friend was dismissed at their store when he didn't have the correct documentation!?! Well why don't they just send the cheque out with the original details? Again after a lot of wrangling, the cheque was sent out.
Basically, the moral of the story; go for the deal if it doesn't involve cashback.
Good luck.
