General Comments

I am quite frustrated with the amount of time it has taken to recover the excess amount. I was shunted from behind, the shunter admitted liability and Halifax car insurance staff could not get their fingers out to sort my claim. They lost my original receipt, then lost 2 faxes (I find it unbelievable to think how in this modern day and age, one can lose faxes!), and then said it will take as long as it takes. I had the accident on 1st July, got the car repaired on 8th December, and it's now 19th January, and there is no sign of the £400+ I have spent. The most unhelpful customer service staff I have ever spoken with.

    I found this review helpful because... we go through the same. It does not work and we had to take again this insurance while all documents being sorted. Never ever in my life I am going to use Halifax. Hope people will choose wisely and they will learn from our mistake.
