For under £130 this Airgun Sport Vipir 4-16X50 Mildot IR scope is good value. A good test of any scope is to set it on its lowest mag then slowly turn up the mag, most scopes under £200 will go milky before you reach full mag - NOT THIS ONE. I was impressed, using a corn flakes box put at a measured 30, 40 & 50yds the scope on full mag and the supplied sunshade fitted the parallax ring was smack on - now I am very impressed. The dots are not perfect for a.177 but usable, with a 35 yd zero one dot under is aprox 47.5 yds two dots under is aprox 53 yds. The adjustment turrets are not resetable but turn with a good positive click, but can be slippy, I had never used an illuminated reticle before but on a very dull damp day in a dark wood the IR was magic, but don't make my mistake and turn it up to high, I have been using scopes for over 25 years and this is the only scope I have used that can range find out to 50 yds on 16 mag, from past experience you usualy need about 30 mag it takes a lot to impress me but this scope has done it.
