High servicing costs.
I had a Jaguar X Type 2.5 for 6 months....shudder.
On my first long drive, the radiator hose blew off as the system had been over pressurised by Jaguar.
I limped into the services but the damage had been done, blown head gasket and ruined engine. Total engine rebuild £3000, thankfully still under warranty.
Jaguar refused however to extend the warranty on the engine despite them having it for 6 weeks and a complete rebuild.
I was a sales rep doing 35,000 per year so servicing 6 times a year...ouch !!!
Bit the bullet, sold for a huge loss, now drive a Peugeot 406 3.0L V6 Coupe...nice !!
