The tonearm floats?
not if you weigh it properly - any tonearm floats if incorrectly set up!! The only thing with the tonearm would be the clearance causing a problem. I can't remember the exact measurement but I do remember thinking using 500 al would possibly be to high. As for the start up there is more torque on the PDX giving a quicker startup than the technics,
