Good Points
The Sigma 28-105 f 2.8-4 has a wide aperture at 28mm, sharp.
Bad Points
Aperture not constant, focussing ring isn't rigid, expensive filters (72mm).
General Comments
I bought my Sigma 28-105 f2.8-4 after purchasing my Nikon F60 with a standard Nikkor 28-70 D. The Nikkor was built so pooly, I had to upgrade. The Sigma is a nice lens to use, but, when manual focussing, it is quite easy to grip the focus ring tightly, causing the ring stick (I'm a bit heavy handed). If the ring was more rigid, I wouldn't be able to squash it. Otherwise, the lens performs well. My photos look as sharp as with any other lens.
