After spending the last year with my Logun Solo I decided it was time for a change, so between Christmas and New Year off I went to my local airgun outlet to see what he had. There it was the new Logun Eagle the last one of 4 and I had to have it. Full Combo £440, much quieter with a Weirauch silencer as opposed to the Logun. Excellent design features easy to handle straight from the box but much more comfortable once the butt plate has been adjusted and set. I found it to have that bit more impact than the Solo. The pistol grip is a little bulky but that's not a real problem to someone with the larger hand. The single shot pellet tray is a great help something the Solo could do with, so with a little modification I might try to fit that to the Solo. The magazine once fitted in place of the tray is brilliant for fast reload but manually indexed (can't have it all though can we). Approx 80-90 full shots at 12ft lb and combined with Logun Penatrators (and so was the Solo), you have total power. I have just purchased a Harris bipod for it and that too works better than the Logun. I like to Cam Clad all my wooden stock rifles to protect them mainly from the drizzle and damp in the air at this time of year, but the synthetic stock isnt at risk (might be a little more complicated anyway). Overall a very nice rifle and a very nice price tag too even mail order price.
