Good Points

Comfortable seat and driving position, smooth, responsive automatic handling. Great on the motorway.

Bad Points

Electrical faults, brakes need regular (and very expensive) replacement, air con breakdown, very poor and expensive servicing at local ford garage.
Lack of room in the boot unless you take out the two rear seats which are very heavy and can be difficult to remove. Poor depreciation.

General Comments

I wouldn't buy a Ford Galaxy again. Bought it new, 2002 model, and have been beset with problems including almost 18 monthly replacement of brake discs and brake pads. The front tyres also need far too frequent replacement and at around £110 per tyre, that is a very expensive regular replacement.
The aircon in the rear has been faulty.
Servicing has been horrendous and expensive. I've been completely put off Ford garages.
It is a very thirsty vehicle. There is far too much rattling in the interior of the car which makes it noisy to drive.
