Good Points

It is powerful, many shots per fill at low setting

Bad Points

The Air Force Condor takes a long time to fill with hand pump, you're usually out of breath and shaking from the effort. fill pressure is not 3000 as they claim it is more around 2000+. More than this causes valve lock (this is the term the Airforce uses) 100 yards is a very tough shot. I been using 21 gr. Beeman pellets and at 100 yards you can see the pellet dropping very rapdily. I also use Copperhead point which shoots randomly (meaning one or two shots can be right on the cross hairs at 50 yards and then have one or two shoot 3-4 inches off target. Workmanship I had to send in mine to be fixed and is still not right.

General Comments

The Air Force Condor is powerful and is accurate when using right pellets. I shot a pellet in the same hole at 50yrd. Good gun for a beginner who doesn't know much about guns but next time I will get the Daystate, they have one that is just as powerful but more goodies like built in pressure gauge on the gun, ten shot clip.

There are no daystate rifles with the same power as the condor other than the Air Ranger and it has many problems with it, not to mention it is more than 3x the cost. And valve lock does not occur at 2000 plus, it is only around 2900-3000, and there is a $40 aftermarket part that will fix this. If you want to avoid it, just fill to 2700, where the gun performs best. I do agree with you about the pump, the first bit of advice I give to anyone considering this rifle is to get a scuba setup if at all possible.

I have the same problem. About to fill the tank at 3000 psi. The first 30 or 40 shoots feel very slow and set the power at 8 - 9.

Do you know what and where I can get that part that you mention?

Jerryboy... the part that would help you is a heavier hammer weight. For tons of info about these guns and several sources for this part, do yourself a favor and visit www.talonownersgroup.com. If you want my special recommendation... speak to Anthony266, he's done a fair amount of work for me and the results were amazing. His website is: www.talontunes.com, Enjoy!
