Good Points

Great looking custom pistol
A 'charge' of 134a gas is good for about 10 mags worth.
Modest power, ideal for 'plinking' fun

Bad Points

Gas can work out expensive
Non- blowback model not as realistic/ exciting
Wooden handgrips look a bit shiny
Constant firing rapidly cools chamber weakening power.

General Comments

The Tokyo Marui non- blowback gas pistol is available in the UK for around 30-45 pounds.

It has a magazine capacity of 15 BBs (Use high quality Excel/ Marui 0.2g BBs for best results), filling the slim 'magazine' is rapid. Spare magazines are available.

The overall quality of the gun is good, the plastic parts all looking quite convincing with the exception of the 'wooden' handgrips, which are a bit shiny. I removed, cleaned and painted mine with Matt enamel varnish, looks much more like wood now:-)
The gun is 25 cm in length and black and silve r in finish, with a metal compensator on the end of the barrel, adding some extra weight and balancing the 'feel' of the gun considerably.

The 'real' Wilson supergrade guns are Colt automatic pistols which are then worked on and upgraded in finish and smoothness of action.

The sights are large, easy to use and the end sight is adjustable by way of a screw head for elevation/ range.

'Charging the Marui Gas gun range is done by taking your can of HFC 134a airsoft gas (about 10 pounds per can 500ml), turning the gun upside down, and placing the nozzle of the gas can against the fill nossle of the gun, slight pressure then fills the gun in around 4 seconds, just like you would fill up a gas cigarette lighter. If you listen carefully you can 'hear' when the gun is full as the tone of the hissing niose changes, and you may notice a bit of gas splurting from the fill nossle. DONT overfill or use other types of gas or you may well damage the model.

Once filled and allowed to warm up for a few minutes (Gas guns work best at room temperature, too cold and the power drops off quite a bit), the gun is all ready........

This gun is a semi automatic(fires 1 BB per trigger pull, no recocking in between like a spring gun) as fast as you can pull the trigger.

Firing the model is very satisfying, and compared to a springer, excellent for fun!, you can empty the 15 round mag in a few seconds and the power and accuracy are quite good. This gun does not have Hop-up, but at 15 yard ranges you can easily hit a 8x8 inch target pretty much every time.

If you are thinking of a first airsoft gun and cant afford the AEG range, a little gas non- blowback model is ideal and quite a step up from a basic spring pistol, this model is great looking, weighty and fun to shoot, just watch out for the gas you will need to buy!!
