General Comments

I bought the Daystate Huntsman Mk 11 second hand in .177. It's my first PCP rifle but not the first PCP I have fired. What can I say - I'm very impressed! I can hit a cigarette at 30 meters standing up and I haven't practised all that much. The trajectory is really flat on the .177 caliber and I would recommend it. I also use this rifle for a spot of hunting / pest control. It will easily deal with squirrels despite the small calibre as long as you are accurate and hit the kill zone -easy with this rifle. At first I thought that the weight would be a problem but I have got used to it and it actually has it's advantages. I find that I get about 80-90 shots per fill before the power drops but it is still very useable after that. I was lucky enough to find one with a thumbhole stock which not only looks good but gives a really positive feel. I have found that crossman accupel are the best pellets for it with baracuda match extra heavy a close second with a bit more hitting power. My rifle is 11.7 ft/lbs and is well powerful enough for what I need. It will easily go through 2 emply bean tins at 30m. I am using a fairly basic scope (3-9x40) at the moment but know that a better scope will release even more potential from this excellent gun.

Buy one and keep it forever - it's a peach!
