Excellent workmanship! This is a serious gun!Very accurate - yes I really mean VERY ACCURATE.
Bad Points
A little heavy with tri-pod and scope attached. Second stage trigger could be slightly lighter.
General Comments
I just purschased my Air Force Condor on 01/01/06. Out of the box, I attached everything and sighted the scope within 5 minutes. Warning - if you buy a 3x9 scope you will replace it within days with a 6x24x44 or greater. The rifle shots that well. I CAN PUT PELLETS ON TOP OF EACH OTHER AT 30 YARDS. This weapon is very accurate! Read all the other reviews. They are correct. The gun is loud but not bad. I spent several months trying to decide what high end rifle to buy. I went back between the BSA Hornet and the Springer RWS 48.
If you do decide to buy this gun - take the trouble to get a old used suba tank. Do your homework here - the pump will turn you off fast. The Condor works with the suba tank so well - I put my 22 rifle away. Two days after having this rifle, I shot a wild turkey. The powder setting 7.5 using a 21.5 grain pellet. The shot was approximately 30-35 yards, one shot and one kill. After retreiving the turkey, I found the entry wound in the chest area and the exit wound was on the oppiste side. This setting was too high. This was something that concerned me prior to buying the gun - it have to be powerful. I beleive this weapon could kill a dog or similar sized animal with no problem it's very powerful. Not for kids! The best thing I can tell you is that this was expensive but well worth it! Have fun and buy LOTS of pellets.
