thoughtshot's Review of Schwinn S350 Electric Scooter
7th Jan 2006
Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Build quality

- Length of ownership2 weeks
- Reliability

Cheap, has a bit of speed (a semi-fast jog), smoother than a bike ride, has nice storage basket, pretty quiet, can go up slight inclines, YOU MUST LUBE THE CHAIN EVERY TIME YOU RIDE, WD40 easy!!!!
Bad Points
No front suspension, no freewheeling, This scooter is underpowered in my opinion. Chain assembly becomes loose and fell off once so far and I've only had it a couple of weeks NEEDS more power!
General Comments
1st, I thought that the Schwinn S350 was like a joke(toy). I helped to put it together and was suprised that the little vehicle was as solidly constructed, My car is in the shop so we had to rely on this for groceries. Our whole family tried it out and came to the conclusion that it is a nice little scooter for short trips a max 150 pound person. Have to say that it will actually go up an incline but moves only at a fast walk when going up an incline. We went and got led headlights and tail lights and now it looks really kinda cool. NO GAS!! EXTREMELY EFFICIENT and fast charge.
