General Comments

I recently set out to purchase a Rolex watch. It has been a long held dream of mine, so I began to scour the web, convinced I could bag a bargain. The only problem was that the choice was immense and I was left usnure of what to do. Should I buy a brand new watch? Or should I buy second hand. After looking around, I came across the A Baker & Sons website. I found a model I really liked (a Daytona in steel, with the much sought after Zenith movement). I knew that these were hard to come by, but I was still reluctant to part with so much money online. After having a good look at the site, I soon realised that these people were real watch enthusiasts. They had some great information on the site. I decided to ring them, and was very pleased to be able to speak to someone , at great length, about the different options. The gentleman who helped me seemd to have an encyclopedic knowledge of watches and it turned out he was himself a watch collector of some note. I took his advice, and was more than happy to make my purchase. As a company, I think they offer a great, and more importantly to me, personal service. I would heartily recommend them to anyone looking to invest in a quality timepiece.
