Handling, Cheap insurance, can surprise a lot of "sporty" car, reliability.
Eats the front tyres! 40mpg for a diesel - but then again the engine is over 25 years old!
The Peugeot 306 is a really reliable car, I've had it 3 years and done only 40K (I bought it with 95K), all I've had to do is follow the service indicator gauge and get is serviced regularly. Nothing major has ever gone wrong (apart from a CV and a turbo ... the turbo was probably the previous owners fault as it was a hire car!) but it has never EVER let me down! The handling can out do a Focus easily and can keep up with the Corsa/Fiesta's/Saxo SXI's! rather funny when there screaming to get past you! and you just leave them behind in your smoke!
