Good Points

Very light, nice looking, thin, good studs (don't generally collect as much dirt).

Bad Points

Absolutely no protection. Only for strikers/attacking midfeilders. Can cause obseen bliseters/wearing off of skin on heals. Don't expect them to last long!

General Comments

Ok, the Nike Vapour are the best boots that I have ever worn. However throughout the first season of wearing them they caused massive skin wear to the back of my heels, wearing about 0.4mm of skin off! This caused severe pain, I had to pad my heels-out before every game to help prevent this but some wearing still occured. However this was slightly due to me playing on too harder ground but wearing has also happend on completely soggy ground.

They are expensive, and as there is basically no sole, only a tiny thin piece of plastic glued to the boot means they wear out quickly. I had the complete sole come off during the match (only held on by heel) and had to play like that for 10 minutes as my spares were got from the changing rooms. I would recommend having some spares by the pitch side!

These boots have caused me so much pain but I carried on wearing them. They are just so damn light and poised like running shoes they keep you on you toes and do make you faster and have improved my touch.

However if you are not too bothered what you have on your feet then the potential discomfort and pain caused by these boots is not worth it. Complete no-no for defenders as they provide no protection in tackles.

I wouldn't wear anything else but thats just me. If you can afford it, give them a go. If you get on with them they will probably be the best boots you have ever worn! Just don't forget that replacing them regularly will be expensive too!
