General Comments

I bought my 1992 K Renault Clio 16v a few months ago having owned one previously. They are great cars they handle like go carts and will show up any other car in same sort of engine group.
If you're thinking of buying one make sure you buy a good one as they are known for going though gearboxes. When you go to look at one make sure you can select every gear when not started then try it. With the car started it should be smooth and easy to select every gear, also make sure the clutch isn't on its way out as this is a very expensive repair. Most places charge around £500+ as it's an engine out job. Also it's common for the rear arches to rust as most of all Clios go there 1st. If you buy a good one you won't regret it these cars sound awesome with an induction kit on and a performance exhaust. They'll do 0-62 in around 7.7secs and go on to around 140mph.

Please make sure if you have any engine work done like clutch or anything else take it to some where that speacialise in this type of car as it will be cheaper and u know its goin to be done properly people like BB performance tuning, K-tec racing and Hillpower R to name a few.
