Free! Extremely good, picks everything up, hardly consumes PC resources (about 25MB).
The user interface is a bit cluttered, and it can be annoying when used with Outlook Express as it asks for permission when sending/receiving email (but it wouldn't be much of a program if it didn't).
Grisoft's AVG Anti Virus software is a truly magnificent program! It works great on all systems, and it hardly impacts performance. (unlike Mcafee and Symantec). It runs silently, and never needs any user intervention when it is set up properly.
