This model is not a good comparision to earlier manufacture by Dell.
General Comments
Having purchased from Dell a couple of years ago, this DELL Dimension 4500 model is disappointing. The case structure is awkward, particularly the front. The components ie DVD, Floppy are cheap and nasty. Access to the operational buttons is very poor. The processor fan on the 1.8 is noisy. The Dell logo panel on the sides of the case vibrate. Expansion and memory slots are also restricted. The Dell logo appears on far to many items. Most annoying is the partitioning of the hard drive to allow a Dell logo.
Dell need to concentrate more on quality and value for money.
