Good Points

Inexpensive

Bad Points

Very poor quality.

General Comments

Do not purchase the Homelite Timberman if you plan on cutting regularly. Good for clean up around the yard but not for cutting firewood to heat a house. The bar is of poor quality and despite flipping it before each cutting session I have replaced it twice. OEM chain went dull after 1 hour of cutting. Fuel line blew out after 10 hours of cutting. Sprocket needs to be replaced after 100 hours of cutting.

This saw is real junk in the chainsaw world. Parts are hard to find and even the Homelite web site is unreliable for info. Do not buy a homelite saw if you are a person who prefers quality. Spend a little more and get a REAL saw.

This saw was a real disappointment . Second time i used it the break locked up overheated the plastic case and melted it. Had to remove the brake to get the saw to work. After the melting the oiler didn"t work anymore. I had to junk the saw after using it twice.
