Good Points

Looks good, roomy offroader, relatively cheap second hand


Bad Points

Absolutely everything else! DO NOT BUY ONE.


General Comments

I've had my Land Rover Freelander for 3 whole weeks, and on the way to Gatwick the engine blew. It cost me my holiday, flights, car parking, hotel, plus the luxury of getting us home (£150 tow). It cost me £6000 new, so a very expensive mistake. It's in between Christmas and New Year, so looks like beans on toast for January! Before you buy look at all of the forums - search the internet and err on the side of caution!
