Tom Clancy's Patriot Games is a non stop action thriller. When Jack Ryan, a history teacher at the Naval Acadamy in Annapolis and part time CIA analyst, foils a royal abduction attempt by an Irish terrorist group, the Ulster Liberation Army, he makes some very dangerous enemies. The suspence caused by the constant terrorist threat climaxes perfectly in the final action sequence in which Jack Ryan, with the held of a Navy pilot and the prince of Wales, escapes from the sure clutches of the ULA and bring dowm the terrorist group. This book, in short, is perfect in every way.

You think this book is perfect!!??
This is one of the last books worth reading by Tom Clancy.

Most of the stuff he has churned out at a rapid rate since this is trash.

I stick with the good stuff - Cardinal of the kremlin, clear and present danger, Hunt for Red october, and of course, red storm rising.

If you want to read a really good Clancy book try
either "Without Remorse" or "Rainbow 6". In my
opinion those are Clancy's two best novels.
