I think that communication with italian people may be a problem as many are not English speaking. However learning a little of the language is not so difficult.
General Comments
Italy is unspeakably beautiful, and her people wonderful. Every city is beautiful and has very old buildings, but yet are in the same condition as they were centuries ago! You would like to be in the hands of the Capital- Rome! Venice, is a must visit. The whole city on water, what else could be such inspiring yet still strange? Italy is an old, tradition cultural country. The worlds history lies here!! But they say... Old is Gold!!!
