General Comments

The Sony DCR-DVD92 is the first digital camcorder I have owned, so I can't compare it to others.

I am impressed with its ease of use, and it is comfortable in the hand. Video quality is excellent, and the zoom is great, although still pictures aren't so good, but then I'm comparing it to a 5MP digital camera.

I do think the discs should be at least 2 hours long instead of 30 minutes or 1 hour on long play. Tip - just buy a few rewritable discs so you can copy the footage onto a normal DVD disc and keep using the rewritable over and over again. It saves a lot of cash, and for the price of 3 camcorder DVD's you can buy 50 normal discs.
