Battery Life. Smaller size.
Bad Points
Uncomfortable. Not backwards-compatible. Can't link up with Gamecube/GBA.
General Comments
When the Gameboy Micro games console was released, I rushed into the game store I work at to trade in my GBA SP and buy a GB Micro. It is a really beautiful system. It fits right in your hands... kind of.
Let's talk about the good points first: The battery life of the GB Micro is longer than that of the regular GBA SP. I played the Micro for at least 16 hours before I needed to recharge it. The smaller size of the Micro is conveniently small for playing anywhere. I could take my Micro anywhere and not notice it.
However, even though the small size can be convenient, it can be very annoying. Any game being played that uses the L and R button is uncomfortable. The buttons are located in a place that makes the L and R cramp up your hands. Also, the Micro cannot link up with the GameCube or the GBA's. And the most annoying thing about the GB Micro is the fact that it is the first Game Boy that can't play the Game Boy games before it. BIG mistake.
All in all, I wasn't satisfied with my GB Micro. If you are looking for an easy to carry portable for just playing while waiting in lines and such, it is a good pick. However, if you are a more serious gamer, the GB Micro may not be for you.

Another informative review. I was thinking of buying one, but on that review I may reconsider. GBA games are expensive enough as it is and without being able to play GBC and original GB games it cuts off a huge chunk of desirability.
