Good Points

1) Price compared to other guns
2) Everything is perfect, other than the points below, but read my review for details.

Bad Points

1) Gas efficiency
2) That it is SOOOOO close to being perfect, but isn't

General Comments

The KWC CO2 Uzi is almost perfect. Personaly I am looking for a gun that is as close to using the real thing, though I still use all my guns in skirmishes. The Uzi, as expected really really hurts, but that just encourages you to use some skill ;)

Anyway, the gun: First thing you notice is the weight. It feels realy heavy, although I do not think it is actually heavier than a normal aeg...just more compact.

There is also a lot of metal. It looks like there is metal everywhere there should be, except for the main part of the body which is plastic. The top plate of the body is metal theough, along with all the buttons and....barell...umm..everything. All that metal is something great about this gun, but the plastic is not brilliant. There are obvious seams isn't the plastic, and it doesn't seem to the same quality of the plastic used on some other guns. As this was made to be a good replica, there needs to be a metal body made to complete it! This should also bring up the weight to that of the real thing. That is all this gun needs to be perfect, not considering performance.

The recoil is great! Especialy when the stock is in your shoulder. However other reviews say it is similar to the real thing, and from my experience it realy isn't THAT powerful, but it is more than I have ever felt from a BB gun, so that's a good thing.

One VERY bad thing about this gun is the gas efficiency, you cannot empty the whole magazine on fully auto. You can get out about 30 rounds per CO2 capsule, even with using breaks between bursts of fire. Apparently there is a DIY mod you can do using a Hi-Capa piston head and some duct tape which can double the gas efficiency, but to me that does not seem like a satisfactory solution. Hopefully a new piston head will be made for this gun.

Cocking this gun sounds and feels great. Metallic sounding, and the strong spring adds to realism.

The hop up is very very easy to change while playing, just twist the round thing at the front. A criticism could be that it is TOO easy.

The magazine does not click as nicely as most GBBs. This makes you feel a little uncertain about how secure the magazine is, but this could jsut be with my gun, and it hasn't randomly drooped out yet so I am sure it is fine.

Oh! and this gun runs through its 30 rounds FAST! it is only about as fast as most AEGs....the feel kinda distracts you from conentrating on the ROF, so I might be wrong, but 30 rounds is low even compared to most standard capacity magazines, and with each magazine costing you between 50p-80p, this is an expensive gun to run. This is why I only use this gun for fieldwork. Despite the fact it is an SMG and people would think you're crazy using it for 30 metre shots, but its power makes this gun accurate, as good at keeping its power at distance. 0.25g pellets hold their power for longer, increase accuracy, and with this gun, your range is still huge.

Oh, and there is also a big fat moving metal bolt...though I haven't opened the gun up yet for a closer look. The gun fires from an open bolt, but there is no risk of your pellet dropping out, as it is not exposed in the same way it is on an Ingram (if you've ever used one).

I love this gun. It's my cheapest gun so far, and being a big fan of gas guns, I am hoping to see more guns like this in future. Definitely worth buying....unless you're a boring AEG fan and love to be cost effective and just want something cheap that'll chuck balls at your enemy. Sorry, but in my oppinion AEGs lack the thrill that you experience through working with guns in the field. This gun adds to the fear of being under fire (gotta love the fps) and adds the thrill factor that electric guns will never give you. There is also a mod available to use green gas, which should bring the fps down if you need to be boring.

Great gun, get one! Gas guns are the way foreward people! Next step is to make these things fire 9mm :D ...jokin...or am I? These are great useable replicas people!

These are the only two shops that i know of that sell this gun in this country. I'm sure it would come to about the same price as the UK (once taxes are added) if it was ordered from abroad, however like you, I prefer to order from the UK, and so maybe you would to prefere for it to come into stock? A couple of foreign sites that sell it are www.redwolfairsoft.com and www.cobraairsoft.com Both these sites are the same price, but redwolf offer an upgrade to increase the gas efficiency.

Hi Stan, Thanks again for your help. I just can't wait for a UK supplier to re-stock, so I ordered one from HK, should be here soon. Will post a review after I have had a chance to play with it!
