This is a very good Hard Drive. It is very quiet and performs very well. It is to my mind, the best cheap 80GB hard drive you can buy. At around £30 - £50 it is extremely good.
Do not shake the hard drive or it will crack the disk - believe me, I have done it!!
The Maxtor 6Y080L0 Diamond Max Plus 9 80GB 8MB Cache hard rive is very good, especially if you're on a tight budget. Ive got 2 of them on my computer, and they both work very well.
