General Comments

I have been the owner of a Toshiba Equium A60 Laptop for about a year now (2004, 2005). I am currently sixteen, and I have used it non-stop for schoolwork and the occasional game. Last year I went to PC World UK in the hope of getting a shiny HP notebook PC, but came back with a really great deal. PC World had reduced the Equium A60 from £999.99 to £549.99 which was fantastic for me, as I am (always) on a budget. I got it home and opened up the peacock blue lid which saw me look for the first time at the silver and black colour scheme with a dazzling neon blue power button. On switching the laptop on, I noted how it made quite a bit of noise, and heat after only 45 or so minutes, which was OK as I had it on a desk. The laptop came with loads of preinstalled software or 'Bloatware' from Toshiba. After spending 15 minutes taking off all the advertising and screen-savers, I was faced with a 2.8Ghz Toshiba Equium A60 - I was happy! For the price, superb.
