Good Points

The Miss Sara was like spending a week with a happy fiendly family. The boat was not too large and felt you were at home. Ahmed The Captain (Boat Manager) is a one off and contributed greatly to the friendly atmosphere and fun, as did his staff,Steve the Cosmos Rep and Sohaila (Sue) our Egyptologist. And the all inclusive tariff is All Inclusive!

General Comments

Best holiday Ever! I echo the sentiments of the previous positive reviewers.
We spent 7 wonderful days on the Cosmos Ms Miss Sara, saw most of the temples & tombs between Luxor & Aswan including the Valley of the Kings & Queens, under the guidance of a very enthusiastic and friendly egyptologist.
We then (as part of the Cosmos package) flew to Giza and spent 3 nights at the Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel which overlooked the pyramids. We had an air conditioned car from the hotel with a first class driver/guide (Mahmoud Issa) for one & half days to show us the Pyramids, Sakara Pyramid & Tombs, Cairo Museum, Memphis & a lot more, for half the cost of tours by coach.
As the last part of package we then flew back to the outskirts of Luxor for 4 nights at the Nile island hotel of Le Jolie Ville Movenpick (heaven on earth),where all the rooms are individual bungalows.
To do all the sites and days out (which some envolved early morning starts to beat the midday sun and the crowds, you need to be fairly fit and mobile, but you are not forced to do it all.
The Egyptian people are wonderful, and although some are always trying to sell you something you never feel threatened and a firm No Thank You or I've already got one Thank You,will normally get a smile and are left alone. We will be going again!
