General Comments

I bought the LiteOn LVW-5005 DVD recorder, and I was very impressed by the quality of the recording, considering it was the cheapest one on the market it was ideal for what I needed. However, after about eight months, the recorder broke and needed replacing. The second unit I had lasted for about five months when it decided not to recognise recordable DVD disks, and it has just become an expensive DVD player.

I'm currently about to buy another recorder, but I will stay well clear of LiteOn products.

If you want something decent, you need to pay for it. I do not recommend LiteOn DVD recorders to anyone.
