General Comments
I ordered a George Foreman Grill on the morning of the 5th Dec 05. I ordered from Currys as the website advertises delivery within 3-5 working days.

By the 15th I had received no parcel, phone call or e-mail.

I phoned Currys helpline and was talking to a most unhelpful advisor for 2 hours (at cost to me) who failed to recognise the problem (ie no delivery). In the end she said that she would send out the parcel but because of the busy Christmas time it would reach me around the 30th!! I said that was totally unsatifactory and after another 30 mins arguing she said she would put it on the next delivery truck. She also failed to take into account where SCOTLAND is saying it would take about an hour and half to deliver from ENGLAND! Try 10 hours and get a map.

2 days later no Grill so I phoned up Curry's again. The parcel had been returned saying that my address does not exist. Ok, so I've been living in an imaginery house for the LAST 27 YEARS!! Told them to stick the order and braved the Christmas crowds and bought one at Argos for the same price. Wish I'd done it sooner.



Avoid and go to the shops. More crowds but at least you'll get want you want when you want it.
