General Comments
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from Internet Cameras Direct. On 25 October I ordered a digital camera which had a delivery date of 4-5 weeks. As others have said payment is taken from the credit card immediately.
When the camera had not arrived after the stated time I e-mailed and was told that they were having trouble with their suppliers and that it would be another 4-5 weeks and they were not even sure about that. They said I could cancel and obtain a refund, which would take 10-15 days. I accepted this.
On 19 December the 15 days being up I e-mailed chasing the refund. I then received a reply telling me the company had gone into administration and couldn't provide a refund. However, according to Companies House (phoned 20 December) Internet Direct are still an active company and not in adminstration.
I am now getting my credit card company involved.
