Good Points

Discount card for tyres and exhausts etc...


Bad Points

Can't add up.
Come back for more money after the deal is closed.


General Comments

Kwik -Fit Car Insurance is garbage.

I got a good quote, which was cheaper than my existing insurance was. I signed the deal, but three months later they came back as they wanted more money because they couldn't (or couldn't be bothered) verify my no claims bonus. I have only ever been insured with well known companies or agents. I'm sure if I had claimed previously and not told them, they would have found out.

After managing to speak to a supervisor I was able to negotiate down to half the extra they were demanding, which brought the premium to the same as my previous insurers. Thanks for nothing.

    It is the customers responsibility to provide written proof of NCD. Because of the Data Protection Act, the majority of insurers won't confirm details over the phone. If you didn't provide it then you can't blame Kwik-Fit car insurance.

    When I kicked Kwik Fit into touch and went to another company there was no hassle, cheaper premium and they didn't come back to me months later asking for more money.
