Increases fps
Made with steel
None
The Skenco Lead-free .177 8.5g pellets are made with steel and have a long plastic skirt. On the plastic container (it's not a tin) it says these pellets are for long range pest control. In my opinion these pellets suck for pest control. I have a Winchester 800x that shoots 800fps. The pellets increase velocity by 20%, which would make the Skenco pellets go 960fps, which is almost 17 foot-pounds, which is good, but if you have a pointy pellet with no mushroom at all, the extra velocity really is pointless.
The pellets go straight through even squirrels at up to 60 yards, which just leaves them wounded.
I would recommend these for low powered target air rifles trying to boost fps, because they are pretty accurate.
