Very reasonably priced.
Young and funky without being overly sweet.
The look of the bottle may not be to everyone's liking.
I remember well my first impressions of
Diesel Green Feminine. Due to the quirkiness of the packaging--looking like a bottle of weed killer from the 50's!!
I wasn't expecting a very promising sensory experience. That's where I was quite wrong.
Although the initial burst of Lime and Ginger is zesty-fresh, it's a little on the harsh side, but the citrus soon settles into a lighter floral Heart of Orange blossom, Rose, Jasmine, Carnation with balancing basenotes of Sandalwood. Its final evolution is really quite soothing, drying down to powdery Amber and Vanilla with the faintest of wood (Cedar). Considering the value for money, (tester size bottles can now be found for as little as $A20) Diesel Green is now a favourite of mine for a casual summer's day or fun night out. A talking point in any perfume line-up.
