Very good finish on all metal parts. A real nice finish on the stock. I like the manual thumb safety. Ruggedly built. All parts fit well. Very smooth action, and easy to cock.
On the Brazilian made 800x the stock style could have been a little more refined.
For the sake of better information, I'm rewriting a new review on the Winchester 800x.
My first review of this rifle was based on my then first experience of shooting air rifles. And now after months of shooting, gaining some better experience, and understanding more about the rifle I had in my hands, I owe a right kind of review on this gun.
After closer to a 1000 shots, and much of the rifle breaking in, along with the trigger getting a little better to pull. I also mounted the excellent BSA air rifle scope.
I can honestly write this air rifle is becoming very accurate at shooting, and it is a well made air rifle.
I still can not say I'd recommend this gun to someone that has no experience with shooting the air guns, but to the person who has some spring piston air rifle shooting time and knows about the break-in period, single shot patience, light hold, and steady firm trigger pressure, they would do well with this kind of low cost air rifle.
