Limited to selected 3rd party contractor (one). You are by yourself as soon as they give you a reference. They don't care that it's Xmas and we will have an elderly person staying.

General Comments

Gas heating working fine until maintenance carried out by a Domestic & General contractor. Took in excess of 24 hours for repair person to come out - after numerous calls and diagnosis by telephone. Fault traced to sticky valve (dirt from maintenance activity ?) not the diagnosis the 'expert' gave on the telephone. Part has had to be ordered - as they don't hold spares - and still we wait for a repair. All this for £177 per year.

Domestic and General don't do emergency, ie call outs within 24 hours. If it's life threatening, an engineer will call out to make everything safe. If parts take over a certain length of time, they can escalate a situation. All repair agents are Corgi registered, and are qualified in each make ie Pott, Baxi and Worcester etc. For realistic cover it's great. And the advisers are friendly. Well done!
