Good Points
Best car I've ever owned fast yet economical. Excellent motorway cruiser have travelled 47k m with no problems

Bad Points
Rear leg room a bit cramped when 2 6foot plus sons in rear

General Comments
I have owned the Volkswagen Golf 1.9 GT TDi 130 Mk4 since new it's like sex on wheels great fun to drive, wholly reliable average 52-54 mpg. I have travelled 540 mile (S coast to York and back in same day) on less than 1 tank of fuel. Like every thing about it. More subtle design than mark 5 (which looks bloated on steroids)
