Good Points

Economy (100 + mpg). Weather protection with leg shields and a screen. Goes really well for a 125. Manoeverability - it's great on the small roads and through traffic. Reasonable size so you don't feel cramped (I'm 5'10)

Bad Points

Suspension. It tends to crash over the potholes because the travel is limited (but not so bad as a Dylan I tried). Under seat storage is Ok but it won't take an open face helmet.

General Comments

Had the Honda SH125i since new and have done 1500 miles in all weathers since Sept 05. Really impressed generally and I've had all sorts of bikes (last was Honda Transalp 600 and this scooter does the <25 mile comuting trips almost just as well for a lot less money and much more weather protection). Gets used for short motorway trips where 55/60 mph is not too embarassing. It's surprisingly tall but no problem for me.

Hi, good description, I got one last month and have had time to put 800 miles on the clock round the Lake District….. Half with a big pillion rider….. I tend to miss out the “Faster Roads” because I don’t want to thrash the poor engine too much…. Tourists tend to keep the speed down round the lakes anyway and on a lot of country roads the bike is quicker than the average car that has to pull over for oncoming traffic. The hills do kill it a bit though. The roads here can be slippery courtesy of cows… sheep…. Tractors mud… it all adds to the fun… Parking …or even pulling over is so convenient people seem to just accept it’s a scooter… of course it takes no room… It can be a bit of a nuisance getting of and on (no side stand) to open and close gates on the more remote roads…. After saying that I wouldn’t be driving round purely for pleasure if it couldn’t handle (big wheels) tracks and stuff…. And at no cost….. Nearly as cheap as my mountain bike Eric

Me again. Mileage now nearly 4000 with a winter of riding every day behind me. Still very impressed. Agree that it needs a side stand and a bigger tank. Cut the windshield down so you just look over the top and it makes a massive improvement. Also keeps your visor clearer than if no screen (strange but true). Use a fine tooth hacksaw. Had the fuel gauge and speedo pack up (not like Mr Honda) but sorted under warranty.
