Good Points

Excellent for steaming mattresses, glass, tiles and grout


Bad Points

Not very effective on carpets or upholstery


General Comments

We have had our Polti Vaporetto steamer for about a year now and have had mixed results.

It is very easy to operate and set up, though one nice touch might have been a place to keep all the small attachments (we have lost one of ours).

One full load will produce enough steam for an average sized living room carpet.

After using the steamer in a room it does smell a lot fresher, but it is not very effective at removing stains. We mainly use ours to sanitise bedding, carpets, furnishings (we have three cats) and bathroom areas.

If you use the correct attachments the steamer is excellent on glass, and also for cleaning tiles and grouting.

It is an expensive item, but it is very solid and we expect many years service from it.

    I have broken the attachment for cleaning the carpet and wondered if you know how to get a replacement?
