Surprisingly 'true' to the story written by C.S. Lewis. The special effects and the plethora of computer-generated characters are done carefully (no Jar-Jar Binks!)
Bad Points
The credits at the end have thousands of names on them - that's the only thing I can possibly think of that is criticising...
General Comments
For all those people that read the book when they were 8, and hold a very clear vision of what Narnia would be like, once they pushed their way through musty old coats in a wardrobe, I am pleased to say that this film is superb. I am aware that I would 'spoil' the experience for others if I give away any details of the film, so I won't! I am really impressed with the acting of one of the main (child) characters in particular: I was transformed back to the time when I was 8 years old during many of the scenes, and adored the experience. I hope that others are too.
