General Comments

My story is like everyone else's. I had two Providian credit cards, which I had to close because they kept charging me over the limit fees for items they were adding. I actually closed the last one mainly because of that. Not to mention they did not want to adjust the interest rate. To top it off, I tried consolidating with Ameridebt, another story in itself, and although the payments were supposed to be coming from the company, they kept calling me, so I fell into hard times and let it lapse. Why on my credit report it says Emerge... Who are they? Apparently Providian. Can someone explain why they are listed as two different companies on my credit report?
