Accuracy, real rifle feeling.
Reasonably Priced (not over priced like most of the Europe guns)
Bad Points
You have to do a lot clean up work, since the rifle was sprayed with anti-rust stuff.
Screws problems.
General Comments
I bought the B21I bought the B21 in October from Cougar Ridge Cougar Ridge Trading Post.com for $99+shipping ($12). I am very happy with it in spite of some unpleasant incidents. I searched on line and find this is the lowest price. I called to order one and it came in 5 days. Like most of the reviews, it did not look nice since the metal parts are sprayed with anti-rust stuff. Finally, it was shining and great looking after 40 minutes clean up. I checked the screws, some of them were loosing, so I tightened them all. Be real, the stock was not as pretty as the pix in the ad - but it was good solid walnut wood. I took the gun down to my basement 10-meter range, now the big problem was - the piston receiver could not be engaged. I tried and failed many times so I called the vendor - The rep (Debbie) was very helpful, she said she would find a technician to do some trouble shooting thru the phone next day or I could send back for an exchange. Instead of waiting for next day, I went down and tried to figure out the problem - finally, you won't believe it - the problem was - the screw was too tight and the safety pins could not drop down to its position, I put a shim under the receiver and tighten up a gain - Bingo! ( I did call back to tell the vendor the problem).
Wow, it is a very powerful gun, My target is backed by 2 inch foam and a inch thick plywood. Form 6 meters with bench supported to keep consistence I shot 5 pellets each:
Beeman Crow-Magnum pellets
Crosman domed
Crosman pointed
Crosman Premier Hollow Point
Crosman Premier Super Match (plumbs)
Gamo Magnum pointed
Industry brand (Tech force) G6263 (domed)
The best clustered hole group was from the Crosman Premier Super Match (plumbs) - 3 overlapped + 2 overlapped together in a penny inch size on the upper left side of the target. The worst hole group was from the industry brand spread all over - no pattern. I started to zero-n to the center with about 60-90 shots. Now I move to 10 meters and enjoy it - very accurate and powerful - the problem: it penetrated thru the plywood, I have to add a metal pad behind the plywood to prevent further damage to the drywall behind it.
Now after 2 month and 1500 pellets - comparing with my Gamo Hunter 220. I would say: The B21 surpasses the Gamo both in accuracy and power. I did Gamo's chrony at a friend place before, it average 850. The B21 claims a 1000 fps - I guesstimate at 900 +. I don't want to compare B21 with TF 41, they are not in the same category.
After 2 months, the lousy screw problem back to haunt me again, the 2 screws for the rear sight got flat shred, and the front sight keep dropping back due to the powerful recoil of the gun. The front sight screw even damaged the rail of the muzzle and made it impossible to tighten up - I am now shooting with my 3-9X40 BSA scope. I contacted Xisico for their guarantee parts, I will keep you posted - Is Xisico behind its product and its guarantee promise.
I bought a B20 from Cougar Ridge for $85 + shipping (again, the lowest price, and very good service - I will send a Christmas card to praise their service), it came yesterday - I will let you my review in 2 month - What I can tell you now is - the b20 is beautiful, the stock is better than B20.
