Good Points

Decent size considering the features. Excellent Nokia reception and call quality, and Series 60 OS. Very good photographic and video taking abilities (for a phone).


Bad Points

Slightly sluggish. That stupid camera cover.


General Comments

Having always been a fan of Nokia mobile phones (and that's coming from someone who has tried just about every other manufacturer out there), but never having tried a Series 60 phone, the Nokia N70 seemed like a good place to start.

It's a very smart looking phone, with the usual Nokia excellence in respect to reception and call quality. It's also an extremely versatile piece of kit, as the features and Series 60 OS give you a lot of options.

Once I'd got used to the Series 60 OS (which did take a little while) I began to fall in love with this 'smart' little phone. My only concerns with it are the annoying plastic slider for the camera, which actually adds a lot of bulk to the phone, as well as being far too easy to open when slotting it into your pocket (as mentioned by another reviewer), and the sometime sluggish nature of the OS. It's not that bad, but having been used to Series 40 phones you do notice it.

Overall a very smart smartphone.
