General Comments

Note that the model "Marvic Gold" from Norica manufacturer is precisely the same model that "GS 1000" manufactured by Beeman.
However mine is the "Marvic Style", and being more or less the same machine, my rifle has a silvered barrel and cylinder that I've been told, as being a nickel's anti-rust treatment/finishing.
Its stock also is made of some kind of various types of woods.
Its caliber is the .177 and it presents remarkable power and accuracy.
The trigger pull is a little bit long, but can be adjusted, and the rifle might be heavy for young shooters.
The front sight, although being in optic fibber, is protected by the old-fashioned "tube" or "pipe".
This magnificent airgun coasted me 225 euros. To see photos of this model, contact me or go to the Norica site. Thank you.

Hello kiwishooter, this is Pedro, I'm not sure what your question is. Maybe you're referring to a comparison between the Norica Marvic vs. the Gamo Shadow 1000? Which one is the best?
The "best" air rifle of these two, in overall aspects might be the Norica, (its price says a lot just for start) - 225$ (euros) against the 140$ (euros) Gamo.
The Norica is heavier than the Gamo and better weight balanced; therefore I felt it's clearly more accurate.
It has a somewhat better finish quality and overall better craftsmanship.
In terms of reliability I would say they are equal, but in my opinion, for these two specific models, I think the Norica has a general better quality, - it really feels solid and robust, you can feel it when you hold each one of these two models and when you shoot it.
The first thing I realised was that the Gamo Shadow 1000 is a little bit light weight; because of its synthetic stock, which causes the gun to "jump" each time you shoot it.
On the other side, the Norica Marvic, is clearly a little bit heavy and it REALLY helps a lot on the accuracy because you feel a more controlled and smooth shot.
I hope I've answered your question, you may ask about more aspects.
