Good Points

Didn't charge for extra luggage

Food was bad, even by airline standards
No seat allocations on domestics


General Comments

Flew with Air Europa way back in 1999 from MAD to ALC, and also from LGW to MAD several times. Their TurboProp aircraft has very comfortable leather seats and good leg room (their jets are the usual leg crushing affairs in Economy). However at that time they would not allocate seats on domestics, so no requests for Aisle or WIndow seats or anything like that. Fine for myself, but something to bear in mind if you have any special requirements.

Food was grim, a bread roll and piece of meat (nothing else, not even margerine) on one journey. Very unpleasent. Staff are middle of the road, being on such short flights I never needed to call on them.

One thing where I was very impressed was when moving a lot of luggage on one flight from LGW to MAD, I wasn't charged anything nor given any toruble at all for all the extra luggage, despite having over 30kg for sure.

I also had to take my pet on the same route, and had no trouble what so ever, and had helpful staff who knew what they were doing.
