Good Points

Petrol economy, mine returns 76mpg. Screen is good unless it's a hard downpour. Protection by its size and accelaration.


Bad Points

Battery, so well hidden inclined to be forgotten. Switches are a problem if you live close to the sea, hazzard switch failed, on investigation badly corroded, same with light switch on the second time of use, refused to turn on, so all switches taken apart, cleaned and Vaseline used.


General Comments

The Piaggio X9 250 is a good ride, tyre pressures are critical, especially when cornering, the bike is liable to ground with the result of a rapid change of riding position.
Mine is now three years old and I am about to change it for a new one, why? Things start to need replacing, apart from tyres and brake pads.
