General Comments
Went to Watamu with ASC in June 2005. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The Beach Club hotel was fantastic and right on the beach. The food was very nice with a good choice to pick from. The rooms were basic but clean. The beach is fantastic and I have never met such friendly and open staff. We went on safari and stayed at the crocodile camp which was breathtaking. I would also recommend the Malindi river trip which is also amazing.

Watamu village is another great experience. The locals are a bit full on at first but once you relax you find that they too are very helpful and friendly and will guide you around the shops you want to go to for a very small tip or the promise of an old T shirt when you leave. They will also take no for an answer and will barter. There is a fantastic artists shack in the village where amazing paintings on canvas can be bought.

The only downside is travelling on Kenyan roads which cannot be avoided but is of no fault of the ASC. All in all I couldnt really fault it for any age group and we enjoyed it so much that we are going again next year. Please feel free to contact me if you need any advice.
